Live Event Technology & A/V Systems

Combining live audio, A/V systems, technical troubleshooting, and software engineering to solve problems across both physical and digital systems.

Caleb Roberts

Pursuing Live Event Technology

I’m a Software Engineering student at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology pursuing a career in live event technology, with hands-on experience in live audio, A/V systems, and technical troubleshooting.

I spent three years as a Student A/V Tech Lead, supporting 100+ live events and gaining experience with FOH and monitor mixing, digital consoles, wireless microphones, ProPresenter, and troubleshooting live systems. I also recently completed an A/V installation internship at Conference Technologies Inc., where I worked with professional A/V systems and their installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

My software engineering background has also given me a strong systems and problem-solving mindset that I bring to technical work.

I’m especially interested in live events, FOH audio, theater, and the technical side of event production, and I’m looking to continue building experience in the field.
